Family Comes First At Lakeland Family Eyecare
Lakeland Family Eyecare has been proudly providing high quality eye care services to the Lakeland area since 1998 and we now have clinics in both St. Paul and Bonnyville. Our St. Paul clinic is owned by Dr. Neil Hodinsky and Dr. Trevor Pilipchuk, who were both born and raised in St. Paul, and Dr. Alanna Wilson. Our Bonnyville clinic is owned by Dr. Trevor Pilipchuk, Dr. Sean Moir, and Dr. Alanna Wilson.
We are deeply rooted in the area with a uniquely local perspective on our patients’ needs because you are more than our patients: you’re our neighbours, our family.
We invest heavily in technology and staff education so we can always provide our patients with accurate and efficient information they can trust. We use trusted techniques and diagnostics like digital retinal photography and OCT imaging during every comprehensive eye exam to provide every patient, young and old, with thorough, efficient eye care.

As you may already be aware, Alberta Health Services has recently cut back coverage on optometry services. These changes were unexpected. We are extremely disappointed with their decision and how they handled bringing about this change.
To maintain the high quality of care that you have come to expect at our clinic, there will now be a fee for most eyecare services that were previously fully covered by AHS. If you would like to know how this affects you, please call our clinic at 587-840-7133 and one of our team members would be happy to assist you. You are also welcome to contact your local MLA to voice any concerns you may have with these changes in coverage.
